Remember as a child going to the big city and swishing around in a revolving door?  Now we trudge off to our office buildings and choose the traditional door instead. We’ve lost that gleeful, private moment of suspension between inside and out.  And… the old-fashioned door that we chose uses 8x the amount of energy! 

Every time we open a traditional door the heated/cooled air from inside escapes and wind, rain, snow and dirt sneak in. MIT conducted a study in 2006 that found on average only 25% of people choose a revolving door over a traditional door.  But with signage stating how much energy revolving doors save, 60% of people then made the green choice.  

So now that we know the right choice, take a spin and make a difference.
