Finley made a difference, and you can too.  One of the ways she made a difference in her personal life, as well as those of others, was to lighten the load of catalogs coming into her home, as well as the homes of friends by signing up with Catalog Choice.

It’s pretty simple. Go to your recycling bin or mail pile and take out a few of the catalogs that you have no need for. Maybe they are duplicates, maybe you don’t order from them, or maybe you do need their products but don’t need their quarterly catalogs. Then, click on Catalog Choice, log in or sign up (all they need is your name and email address), and enter the catalogs you no longer want to receive.

By doing this, you’ll reduce your footprint in three ways: (1) Reduced paper and shipping of the catalogs themselves, (2) reduced landfill or recycling plant footprint, and (3) without the tempting catalogs you just may find yourself buying less. Reduce, reduce, reduce.
